Eta Margondang merupakan kolaborasi antara maestro pemusik tradisi dengan pemusi tradisi anak-anak muda di kawasan danau Toba. Kolaborasi ini sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan musik tradisi tersebut. Eta margondang menawarkan komposisi musik yang bersumber dari 4 puak wilayah (Karo, Toba, Simalungun, Pak pak) yang ada di Danau Toba. Eta margondang juga menawarkan komposisi musik yang lebih inovatif, atraktif, yang bersumber dari kekayaan musik tradisi itu sendiri.

Hanna Pagiet
Hanna Pagiet is known as a solo singer with a strong vocal color, often performing pop ballads. She has been active in the professional music world since 2000, initially joining various bands in Medan before finally deciding to pursue a solo career in 2014. Although known in the pop genre, Hanna has a deep interest in traditional music. She often collaborates with musicians across disciplines to combine modern elements with the richness of the Indonesian archipelago sound.

Kristina Samosir
Kristina Samosir is an Ethnomusicology alumna of the University of North Sumatra with a strong interest in traditional music, particularly traditional vocals and singing. She is currently active as a musician and content creator, highlighting art and culture in digital works. In her musical practice, she is often trusted to be involved in the production of traditional music works as a traditional singer, both for performances and recordings.

Yulira Boang Manalu
Yulira Putri Nirwana Boang Manalu is a Music Arts teacher at SMKS Maranatha Sidikalang, North Sumatra. She is interested in introducing the sounds of Pakpak music through the development of musical compositions that combine local cultural elements with a contemporary musical approach.

Dosmaria Maringga
As a Music Education graduate from Medan State University, she demonstrates intellectual depth through research into world music arrangements as well as consistent activeness in various musical activities, such as her involvement in the Eklesia Choir and Music Creation. In addition to her work in music, Maria also has experience in performance management as Festival Director for the 2023 Sumatera Art Festival.

Roland Tobing
Roland Tobing is an ethnomusicologist from Tarutung. He is active in the development of traditional music, particularly Toba traditions. He is also active in the community, serving as the head of Sanggar Darapati, the initiator of the Silindung Ethno-Fusion Festival in Tarutung since 2020, and as a content creator.

Yanda Sipayung
Yanda Sipayung is a Simalungun traditional music artist from Sarang Padang, Simalungun Regency. Yanda frequently performs Simalungun traditional music, both outside the city and within the Simalungun region. He also frequently performs traditional instruments in Simalungun pop songs. Yanda is not only an artist but also actively teaches music to schoolchildren in the Raya area.

Emady Bangun
Emady Bangun is a musician with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He is active in creating EDM music, incorporating traditional idioms into his work, particularly Karo idioms. He has composed numerous musical works and served as music director for performances. He is also a member of several bands.
SIRA – SINERGI RASA (2023)

Sintong B. Pasaribu
Sintong, an ethnomusicologist currently focused on creating musical composition that highlight traditional idioms in North Sumatra, particularly Lake Toba. Sintong is also a member of the music group ‘Komunal Primitif Percussion’. At SIRA, he focuses on creating new composition that adopt traditional Pakpak idioms.

Tria A. Simbolon
Tria Amelia Simbolon holds a Master’s degree in Arts from a university in Medan. Tria represented North Sumatra (as a tagading player) in the 2013 Indonesian Food and Culture Festival in Penang, Malaysia, and is an arranger and soprano saxophone player for several bands. At SIRA, her compositions focus on Toba traditional idioms.

Hiskia A. Purba
Hiskia is a traditional music enthusiast, particularly of Simalungun music. Hiskia specializes in wind instruments, particularly the flute. He also plays several instruments, including the sarunei, the Simalungun gondrang, and others. At SIRA, his compositions focus on Simalungun traditional idioms.

Brevin Tarigan
Brevin is a composer and academic. He currently focuses on creating music, particularly Karo traditional music. He is also the Composer Director of the musical group De Tradisi. At SIRA, his musical compositions focus on Karo traditional idioms.
